This visual timer allows you to eliminate the sound, to benefit children with auditory defensiveness. Visual timers decrease a negative association to “timers” because there is no sound to startle to. They are also excellent for children who need more visual information and/or who need to learn to multi-task and refer to the visual stimulus intermittently through as task.  This visual timer has an auditory alarm option as well.
