The Essentials

No vocal “talent” no worries — shout it, rap it, or sing it!

At the start of the game, every player writes down 3-5 “trigger words” for their eyes only. When it is your turn, you call out a trigger word from your  list, and the other players have 15 seconds to sing a verse, at least 5 words long, containing that word. For example, the trigger word is “vacation” – players could sing or yell out – “Vacation all I ever wanted…”  If you are able to advance, you move your pieces on a game board shaped like a clef. Players will land on spaces compelling them to pick up cards with challenges, like “You have 15 seconds to sing at least 5 words of a country song, if you can’t, go back 6 spaces”.

Kids, Teens, Parents, Grandparents report they have a fantastic time playing, competing, and collaborating with their friends, family, and co-workers. Playing in teams, pairs, or single player versions are all options and provide their own level of hilarity.

Fun Factor

This game as an extremely high family fun factor! Music and songs have strong ties to memory and this game highlights those while building new ones! It is also excellent for parties and co-worker team building events.

Set-Up and Clean-Up

The ability to set-up, clean- up, and store this game is easy.

The IF-THEN’S and the BUT’S

The scoring can be a bit confusing (only initially) for what “counts or does not count”. The board design lends to some confusion when moving pieces “forward” because some spaces are used to go in 2 different directions, so each player really has to remember which direction they were moving their pieces to get to the finish line — it only a mild issue and not uncommon for other board games.  The rules for finishing the game are also a bit odd — landing on the finish line does not equal a win, it results in a Challenge Round.

Nonetheless, these minor glitches did not take away from the fun, laughter, and engagement during game play!
