Fugglers

Fugglers are a fun way to include all types of characters into our play box. Using them to open up the conversation to being “misunderstood” has been intuitive. Using them in our play with children and families, has supported the building and honing of social emotional learning skills, conversation skills, and self-advocacy in a fun and meaningful way with the children that gravitate to these distinctive characters. We have found them to be a useful tool for opening up the conversation about differences in for example, appearances and attitudes, to explore and foster inclusivity.

Furthermore, we have great success in using various Fugglers to foster the skills necessary for children to tolerate and learn to brush and floss their teeth.
