We make it fun and easy to sort through the vast array of games, toys, and learning products out there!  Our goal is to help you discover the items that are “just right” for you, your children, and your clients.  MPowerMe’s Toy Reviews are aimed to help you identify the value of a product based on quality, developmental levels, creativity, social and physical impact, and plain old fun!

Discoveries – Our Game and Toy Review Process

Analyze/Test, Utilize Over Time, Consult with Other Experts, Have Fun Engaging with Children of All Ages and Skill Levels!

The MPowerMe Toys/Games Panel of Experts and I purchase and use the toys and games with our patients, clients, family members, and friends as part of our daily work.

We use the products in natural and clinical situations and environments, giving us firsthand experience with the consumer.

We test and analyze toys and games and determine whether they meet the claims and expectations of vendors and manufacturers. We also provide our opinion on the therapeutic and social impact of the game or toy.

For toys and games we have used for a short period of time, we provide our initial impressions. As we continue to use these products repeatedly with many children, we provide further valuable insights about their strengths and potential weaknesses.

We also consider  the level of engagement we observe in our children and clients and the toy’s or game’s appeal to older siblings and parents for what we call the “family fun factor.” Because we use these products over a period of time, we see which games or toys are most popular.

We analyze how to best augment or modify the use of the game or toy for children with special needs, so that they can play with toys and games that meet their social, cognitive, sensory, and physical needs.

We consult with colleagues and other professionals for impartial feedback regarding the toys and games we review.
