This game is fun, active, and lively! It builds a variety of skills and is versatile. Though intended for younger children (3+), I have found that older children (5-9) really enjoy playing it with their younger siblings. They also like creating new ways to play the game and increase the challenge.

The Essentials
Engage learning with this versatile and active game. The kids need to traverse the visually engaging mat (100 inches long by 30 inches wide) using the different shapes, colors, and animals to jump on in order to move to the finish line at the top. What they jump on depends on what they roll on the dice. They can use one die or both dices to change how they play and strategize. The art on the mat is cute and captivating to look at for younger kids.
Children can play alone or with another player. Playing in a group of 3 or teams of 2 are great combinations for increasing the skills needed for collaboration, team play, sportsmanship, and simple strategic thinking.
Build early math skills, ability to complete tasks in a specific sequence, visual skills, balance, coordination, and gross motor skills. Crocodile Hop encourages active play with peers, younger sibling, and parents.
Fun Factor
This game is fun, active and lively! Younger kids enjoy playing with their friends and competing against their parents. Great addition for indoor and enclosed outdoor activities. Excellent addition for active rainy day fun indoors. It builds a variety of skills and is versatile while being highly engaging and motivating to kids. Though intended for younger children, I have found that older children really enjoy playing it with their younger siblings. They also like creating new ways to play the game and increase the challenge.
Kid consultants, parents, and the Panel of Experts give this game 2 thumbs up! High marks for repeat play and healthy physical activity while building skills.
Set-Up and Clean-Up
Set-up, clean-up, and storage of this game is easy for the floor mat — storing the inflated dice can be tricky without the space. Though each dice is inflatable, the game pieces are well made and durable.
The IF-THEN’S and the BUT’S
If and when the inflatable dice no longer hold air, it will be easy to recreate the items on large blank foam dice.
