The Essentials

The Woozle eats WHAT?! — Fish cupcakes, booger chili, sand pizza….and more! And how am I suppose to feed the Woozle!? With a spoon while you march, walk backwards, hula dance, and even blind folded! The silliness of this game is perfect for children and easily keeps them engaged and motivated.

The players are challenged to carry one to three food coins on a big spoon and deliver it to the Woozle, that is at least 5 feet away. Players roll the dice for the number of food “coins” they have to collect and they spin the wheel to indicate how they have to move toward the Woozle (hula dance, march, hop etc.). It is easy to alter the challenge level for kids 3 – 6 years of age and for older kids with coordination difficulties and other special needs.

The cardboard game pieces are well made and designed, the illustrations are creative and eye catching.

Facilitate early math skills, praxis (imitation, initiation, motor planning, and sequencing), dexterity, balance, coordination, fine motor, gross motor skills, cooperative play, and ability to manage light competition. Encourage active play with peers, younger sibling, and parents.

Fun Factor

This game is active and lively! Kids enjoy playing with their friends and working together to win and older kids like how they can change the rules to make it more challenging and competitive. It is fun to watch the kids turn it into a more competitive game, while still being cooperative — everyone wins when the Woozle gets the 12th snack.

The silly and funny-gross Woozle food engages the imagination and yields load of laughs!

This game is also an excellent addition to your clinical/educational tool box — it is easily modifiable and graded to meet the variety of strengths and needs of your patients and students.

Kid consultants and parents give this game 2 thumbs up for repeat play, healthy physical activity while building skills. Panel of experts give it high marks for repeat play and therapeutic benefit for OT, SLP, and PT, as well as for socialization programs.  Great game to add to your home program resource list.
