Excellent tips! I have found that “resistive suck” exercises help my 10-year-old son to get past the jitters and focus through his homework. After school, we make a thick, yogurt smoothy that he has fun drinking through a bendy straw. The routine is working to smooth out the transition and get him moving in the right direction. This challenging time of day is now manageable!
